After I upgraded to Windows 10, I had problems with three different USB linked devices that had worked fine in Windows 7 Pro 64, but had some type of problem in Windows 10 Pro 64.With regard to the Sharp EC-WS115 Weather Station, it started popping up a error message about the USB being disconnected.I've tried a number of things to fix it, and all I've been able to come up with is this work-around. If you get the message, unplug the USB connector for the Sharp transmitting antenna from the computer, then and plug it back in. You will probably getone or two error message(s) again. Click the 'Retry' button, and if it goes away, it will work normally. The error message might pop up again pretty quick, but hit Retry again. At most I've had o click it three times, but usually only once. After that it will run fine until you reboot the computer or turn it off. Then you will have to do it again.
So it might be convenient to place your USB connector for the antenna in a handy location. If anyone comes up with a better solution, please post it here.Terry. Terry- I've had the exact same USB connectivity issue and the answer seems to be the same as yours. Clearly a USB driver issue I keep my weather station running because it still works and I love it. Hear anything new including a server which housesthe software that would be great!I'm not ready to put the blame on the driver.

None of the three USB issues I've had with Windows 10 make sense. They all worked fine on Win7. Changing driver functionality on Windows 10 isn't necessary to improve the operating system. Seems to meit is just a flaw introduced in Win10.Read this report on my three USB problems, which includes the weather station problem. Read #1 in particular.
The Windows 10 error message on that one doesn't even make sense:tq. Mark,Just to clarify, did the Microsoft.Net Frameworks fix the pop-up error message that comes every time the computer is rebooted?I've been able to make the weather station work, but every time I reboot the computer (or perhaps just log off and logon), I get two error message about the USB for the Weather Station.
I then unplug and replug the USB cable, and click okay on the errormessages, and Weather Station then works fine until the next time I log off.If you confirm that the USB problem is what gets fixed by installing the Microsoft.Net Frameworks, that might be a bigger deal than just the Weather Station. I've had two other USB problems with other devices ever since upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows10.Please clarify what it was that got fixed with.Net Frameworks. Thanks in advance,Terry.
I have some Digital Camera Binoculars from Sharper Image, but do not have the driver CD that came with them. I searched online and can not find the a place to download the device drivers for them. It doesn't say anything about the manufacturer on them so I can't even search the manufacturers website.Does anyone know where I can download device drivers for these?Update: I previously thought that they might be similar to the Vivitar brand binoculars (which they still may be), but have since found that the manufacturers website is.
